Every Hanscan hardware component is solid-state and designed, developed and manufactured by Hanscan in the European Union. We engineer and make everything; hardware, middleware and software, ensuring that our systems are complete and without weaknesses. They’re all designed with simplicity, robustness and ease of integration as core principles and every component has a solution purpose.
Our access control terminals are capable of running in two modes: online as default or offline. The terminals are always connected to the server to verify permissions of enrolled users. If, for any reason, the network or server fails, the terminal will automatically switch to offline mode and back online again once reconnected. This feature can also be configured as desired with the MABAS management software. When a system is in offline mode, it maintains the capacity of managing the basic access permissions without the function of the SCU, as memory redundancy is built into every Hanscan terminal.
